Although the hotel looked great in photos, my stay was damp and uncomfortable after heavy rains. The room was basic for the price paid but did have air conditioning, yet it had a noticeable musty smell. The location was perfect, right on Jaco Beach and within walking distance of top-rated restaurants. The dining experience fell short as advertised options never arrived, but the atmosphere was great. The facilities, including a hammock outside by the pool, were nice. Overall, a mixed experience with some standout positives.
